Our birthday party space is available on the following days:
Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30am to noon, 1:00pm to 2:30pm or 3:30pm to 5:00pm
Sundays from 12:30pm to 2:00pm or 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Rates for parties are $35.00 per person (adult and child), with a minimum of 10 guests. Please note that our birthday party room can accommodate no more than 30 guests per party.
Every birthday party package includes:
The exclusive use of our private birthday party room for 1.5 Hours (during business hours only) with tables, chairs and disposable service ware
One cheese or pepperoni pizza slice with punch or lemonade per guest
All-day general admission to the Museum's exhibit galleries (does not include special exhibitions)
20% discount in Shop Too! - The Museum's Gift Store (discount cannot be combined with any other store discounts)
Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is due at time of reservation and is nonrefundable. Final payment and guest count is due at least three business days prior to the party. Reservations can be made by contacting our Group Sales department at 817-255-9440.
Due to the nature of our collections and exhibit components the Museum does have some guidelines for use of the birthday party space. Candles, votives and hurricane lamps (open flames) are not allowed in the Museum. Gasoline, propane or electric heaters, grills or similar devices are prohibited. All freestanding and/or table decorations must be fireproof, pass Museum standards for safety and be appropriate for the Museum setting, a space for children and families. The Museum does not allow confetti, birdseed, glitter or balloons. Decorations may not be taped or tacked to any wall surfaces, exhibits, ceilings, glass, cabinets or equipment. Arrangements of the space must meet all code requirements for access and egress.
The Museum does not assume any responsibility for loss, theft or damages of any décor or personal belongings. Decorations, gifts, and guest-supplied cake or cupcake load-in and removal are the responsibility of the client and must be completed at the conclusion of the event. Materials left are subject to a $50 per day storage fee up to a maximum of two days. A charge of $35 per staff per hour will be applied for handling any materials.
