Family Involvement
Museum School®
Museum School provides age-appropriate learning experiences for preschool and school-age children. These classes enhance a child’s awareness of the world, utilizing hundreds of objects from the Museum’s collections. Call for class schedules and availability visit Museum School® or call 817-255-9333.
Family Star Parties
Family Star Parties give you, your students, and their families a chance to explore the craters of the moon, the polar ice caps of Mars, and more! The Fort Worth Astronomical Society will set up their telescopes on the Museum’s north lawn one day each month from March through October for free public viewing. Email the Noble Planetarium or call 817-255-9409 for dates and times or visit Skyline for the schedule.
Become a Member
Both museums offer great membership programs that provide reciprocal exhibit admission, store discounts, educational support and much more. Find the membership program that’s right for you and use your educator discount. For Museum of Science and History membership information, inquire at the Concierge Desk or Omni Ticket Office or call 817-255-9404. For National Cowgirl Museum membership options, inquire at the Gift Shop or call 817-509-8664. Memberships are for public programs only. Membership benefits are not valid for group or school visits.
Home School
Home school groups are welcome. Contact Group Services at least two weeks in advance at 817-255-9440.
Family Science Festivals
Let the Museum staff bring a festival to your campus for an action-packed family event. Interactive experiences, live programming, collections and artifacts will fill your school with engaging experiences for your students and their families. For more information contact 817-255-9472.
