Exhibits

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the School Services staff would like to wish you a wonderful and enriching school year! The Museum of Science and History is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in late November 2009. Exhibit field trips will be available beginning in Spring 2010. Throughout construction, the Omni Theater remains open and is available for Fall 2009 field trips. A variety of outreach and distance learning opportunities are also available this fall. Find up-to-date information about Omni field trips, Discovery Labs on Wheels, Astronomy on Wheels, and distance learning online. Museum of Science and History exhibits are no longer on display at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. However, the National Cowgirl Museum remains open, featuring the cowgirl experience. Field trips to the National Cowgirl Museum may be booked directly with them by calling 817-336-4475.

An in-depth School Program Planner introducing you to the new Museum of Science and History and the many educational opportunities available in 2010 will be available in November. Until then, take some time to watch our progress via the live webcam, join us for an Omni Theater presentation, and/or take advantage of the many outreach opportunities available this fall.
