FALL/SPRING 2015-2016 MUSEUM PRESCHOOL
For children ages 3, 4 and 5
For more than 65 years, Museum School has been opening young minds to a world of natural wonder. Founded in 1949, the program was first called the “Frisky and Blossom Club.” Today, the Fort Worth Museum School continues to be a national model for informal science education.
The curriculum combines natural and physical science, history and anthropology with art, music and literature. Specimens and artifacts from both science and history teaching collections support the playful learning environments.
The richness of real objects, curatorial support and a dedicated staff ensure first-hand, developmentally- appropriate learning experiences that enrich children’s lives. Fort Worth Museum School is proud to inspire a sixth generation of early learners and their families.
Children must be 3, 4, or 5 years of age by September 1, 2015 to be eligible for the 2015-2016 school-year program. The Museum School Fall/Spring 2015-2016 brochure is available online only. Click here to download a PDF of the class brochure which contains the program description, class schedule, registration instructions and the registration form. Sending a registration by mail is preferred (faxes cannot be accepted.) Registrations will be processed on a first-come basis as they are received. A confirmation will be mailed soon after the registration is processed. Registrations will be accepted by phone beginning March 17.
The Museum School Scholarship Program offers economic assistance to families in order that their children may experience an educational and exciting Museum School class. Funding for the scholarship program is made possible by generous contributions from individuals whose goal is to help all children gain the life-long benefits Museum School has to offer. A limited number of full and partial scholarships are awarded on financial-need, and will be given out on a first-come basis until all funds for the school year are distributed.
