The OMNI sound system has 50 speakers, driven by 8 amplifiers that produce over 24,000 watts of sound through 6 channels and a giant sub-bass stack to give the audience that “you are there” feeling. The sound system and speakers were upgraded in

The Lamplighter Circle, named after the Urban Lantern towering over the Museum’s main lobby, provides support for the Museum that keeps our lantern lit—offering an extraordinary learning environment for the Fort Worth community and beyond. Lamplighters make our lectures, world-class educational exhibits, IMAX films, and special events possible through their philanthropic giving.

PAST EVENTS:
On May 23, 2013 Lamplighters attended a reception and preview of Elvis at 21. The King made a special appearance, as did the exhibits’ curators.
On June 9, 2013, Amy Henderson discussed The Flashpoint of Fame: Elvis, Messenger of Change at the Museum’s Celebrity Lecture series.
