    One lucky child will be selected to light the Urban Lantern, the Museum's iconic 76-foot entry. The public is invited.

    Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Official Opening of the New Museum
    The new Museum of Science and History will open its doors after a public ribbon cutting and ceremony on the Western Heritage Plaza in front of the Urban Lantern.
