Evening or other special programs hosted by the Noble Planetarium may require a separate admission fee.


Join the Noble Planetarium staff and members of the Fort Worth Astronomical Society for monthly Star Parties. Navigate the skies with the assistance of staff and other astronomy buffs. Weather permitting, parties begin at dusk and last until approximately 10:30 p.m.

Star Party FAQ

Do I need a telescope?

The Fort Worth Astronomical Society and other amateur astronomers are happy to share their telescopes, however feel free to bring your own. You might even pick up tips for ways to better use it!


Is the Museum open during Star Parties?

Museum galleries are closed, however limited access is available to restroom facilities through the Museum's Star Cafe.


Do you charge an admission fee?

Admission to the Star Party is free to all. Museum members may park at no charge in the Museum lot adjacent to the building, non-members will be charged $5 per vehicle. Additional parking is available in nearby lots, where fees vary.


Can I bring food?

Food and non-alcoholic beverages for individual use are welcome, however distribution or sale of these items is prohibited on the campus of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, including the Museum Member / Guest Parking Lot adjacent to the Museum.


Weather Policy:

In the event of inclement weather, the Star Party will be canceled. Please check the Museum's website for updates.
