  • How much does it cost to visit the museum during the Fort Worth Stock Show?
    The Museum’ permanent galleries are included free with paid Fort Worth Stock Show admission.  General admission information can be found below.

  • Do I have to pay Fort Worth Stock Show admission to see a film at the Omni Theater?
    No.  Access to the Omni IMAX Theater does not require admission to the Stock Show.  The Theater can be accessed via the north entrance only during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.  All other museum entry points do require Fort Worth Stock Show admission.

  • Why do I have to pay Fort Worth Stock Show admission to visit the museum?
    This year, The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is located within the grounds of the Fort Worth Stock Show.  As a result, the Museum experience in included with your paid Stock Show admission.  The museum cannot be accessed without first paying for general admission to the Fort Worth Stock Show.

  • Where do I park if I only want to see an Omni Theater film?
    If you plan to visit the Omni Theater, utilize the West Parking Lot or Western Heritage Parking Garage.  Information and maps to these lots can be found here.

  • Where do I park if I want to visit the museum?
    You may utilize any of the surface or garage lots in the cultural district. 

  • I am a member; do I have to pay to enter the Fort Worth Stock Show or the Museum?
    No.  Simply provide your membership card, a valid ID and a printable voucher to any Stock Show admission booth to receive free admission.  Free admission to the Stock Show is limited to the number of persons on your membership. Parking and Rodeo admission is extra.

  • I am a member; do I have to pay to park during the Fort Worth Stock Show?
    Yes.  The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo regains control of all surrounding surface lots and parking facilities for the duration of the FWSSR (January 16 through February 7, 2015). Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Parking Fee for all surface lots and facilities is $8.00 per vehicle (no ‘in and out’ permitted). The Stock Show Parking Booths accept CASH ONLY, no credit cards, debit cards or checks.

  • Can I use my Association of Science and Technology Passport (ASTC) reciprocity, Association of Children’s Museum (ACM) reciprocity or Perot Museum of Nature and Science membership reciprocity during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo?
    No.  Reciprocal benefits are not available during the Fort Worth Stock Show.

ADMISSION TO THE FORT WORTH MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY IS INCLUDED WITH ADMISSION TO THE 2015 FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW & RODEO

January 16 – February 7, 2015

Again, in 2015, admission to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo includes FREE exhibit admission to The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History permanent galleries, the Cattle Raisers Museum and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame! Through the “Moo-seum Experience,” presented by Central Market, you can stroll into any of these museums free of charge throughout the 2015 Stock Show, January 16 through February 7, 2015. Please note, the Stock Show General Admission Booths accept cash only, no credit or debit cards.

Please note, access to the Museum Exhibit Galleries, the Noble Planetarium, Shop Too! and Stars Café requires Stock Show admission for all non members from January 16 through February 7, 2015.

FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW AND RODEO GENERAL ADMISSION:

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo's general admission tickets permit access to all livestock events, educational programs, commercial exhibits, carnival/midway, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.  The Stock Show General Admission Booths accept CASH ONLY, no credit or debit cards or checks.

ACCESS TO THE OMNI THEATER:

MUSEUM MEMBERS GET IN FREE
TO THE FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW GROUNDS AGAIN IN 2015!

MUSEUM MEMBER FREE ADMISSION:
Present an official Voucher, a photo ID and your Valid Membership Card at any Fort Worth Stock Show admission booth

It gets even better! If you’re a member of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, you can get into the Stock Show grounds for FREE! You’ll have access to the Stock Show grounds, livestock barns, exhibit halls, midway, petting zoo and more family attractions during the entire 23-day event. It’s just one more great benefit of being a member of the Museum of Science and History! Free admission to the Stock Show is limited to the number of persons on your membership. Parking and Rodeo admission is extra.

Museum members must present the Stock Show voucher (available here) along with a current Museum Membership card and photo ID for entry. 

PARKING NOTE: January 16 - February 7, 2015
Free parking for Fort Worth Museum of Science and History Members will be suspended during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (FWSSR) as the FWSSR regains control of all surrounding surface lots and parking facilities for the duration of the FWSSR (January 16 through February 7, 2015). We apologize for any inconvenience.  Free parking for Fort Worth Museum of Science and History Members will resume in the Museum Lot, located at the corner of Montgomery and Harley, on February 8, 2015.  Thank you for your support!

MEXICAN CANTINA AND TEXAS BBQ INCLUDING BEER AND MARGARITAS!

Also new for 2015, Stock Show and Rodeo Fare in the Museum’s Atrium!  Enjoy our Texas BBQ during weeks one and three of the Stock Show and  Mexican Cantina during week two.  BEER and MARGARITAS round out the offerings which will include Taco and Enchilada Plates and traditional Texas BBQ.
